Today's Tip: Cut up some fresh fruit or veggies to snack on.

What You’ll Do
1. Take five minutes to slice up produce into snackable pieces.
2. Once you’ve selected and cut up your fruits and veggies for the week, place them in containers at eye level in the fridge. This way, you’ll be more inclined to reach for them when hunger strikes.
How It Helps Schizophrenia
Research suggests an anti-inflammatory diet (including foods rich in fiber, omega-3s, and vitamins C and D) may help reduce the symptoms of schizophrenia and negative side effects of antipsychotic medication. Eating lots of fruits and vegetables is a core part of an anti-inflammatory diet, and you can make it easier to incorporate them into your daily meals by slicing them up and storing them ahead of time.
