Spring cleaning has me in a chokehold. For the last few weeks, I’ve been spending every spare moment clearing out our cupboards, scrubbing the grout, and vacuuming in those places that often get skipped. But it’s not easy, and if you don’t have the right tools on your side, no amount of scrubbing will give you that good, deep clean. The seasonal reset may have you jonesing for some new cleaning and organization products to get your home sparkling, and I know just the products to help.
Air U floor scrub brush long handle

Air U + Floor Scrub Brush with Long Handle

Ok, so this isn’t something you’re going to reach for every time you mop. It’s a tool for those times you need a deep clean. I tend to use it seasonally to lift grime and dirt, and to get the grout clean. I use it with a bucket of warm, soapy water, and I just start scrubbing the kitchen floor. Then I follow up with a typical wring mop to get up all the dirty water after that scrub. It’s actually really satisfying to see all the hidden grime come up from the floor (well, satisfying and kind of gross). This is such a great product that we even included it in our Healthy Home 101 article.

Recyco swedish dishcloths

RECYCO Swedish Dishcloths

There’s nothing I love more than a sustainable product. If you haven’t gotten yourself some Swedish dishcloths yet, it’s something you should get on top of right away. These reusable, washable cloths are great for wiping down the counters, washing the dishes, and sopping up messes. Think of them like a reusable paper towel, but even more absorbent (and way cuter). They last for months, wash and dry easily, and help you feel like you’re doing your part to keep your kitchen green.
Bliss Branch basics premium starter kit

Branch Basics Premium Starter Kit

With two kids at home, I try to be mindful about the formulas in my cleaning products. I don’t want to keep anything in the home that’s full of harsh chemicals, or that could be a huge problem if my kids somehow got their hands on it. So I recently did a cleaning product overhaul with the Branch Basics Premium Starter Kit. This family-safe cleaning kit comes with three spray bottles with instructions on the side that show how to make each cleaning solution using the included concentrate (you just add different amounts of water with the concentrate). You’ll be able to make a glass cleaner, an all-purpose surface cleaner, a bathroom cleaner, and a hand soap. It also comes with a laundry detergent, an oxygen booster for tough stains, and a hand soap dispenser. The best part? These cleaning products are made with plant and mineral-based ingredients and are unscented, so you’ll feel safe using them throughout the home.
BFUNS silicone faucet drip catcher tray

BFONS Silicone Faucet Handle Drip Catcher Tray

OK, it’s not exactly a cleaning product, but it keeps my counters clean (and dry). This has been a game-changer for my sink area. The suction cup sponge holder I had before just didn’t stay suctioned, and my only other option was to put the sponge right on the counter, creating a mess. This silicone tray has spouts that empty right into the sink, so any puddles that come from your sponge when storing it there, or any drips from your hand from reaching for the dish soap, just go right back into the sink. And when it inevitably gets a little mildewy, you can just pop this into your dishwasher.

Once your spring cleaning is done, there’s no better time to get the house organized, too. Check out our guide on how to make it happen.
