Zelsuvmi (Topical)
Berdazimer is used in adults and children at least 1 year old to treat molluscum contagiosum, a skin infection that causes small bumps on the skin.
Berdazimer topical may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

What is the most important information I should know about Zelsuvmi (Topical)?
Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had:
- sensitive skin or other skin problems.
It is not known if berdazimer will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
Ask a doctor if it is safe to breastfeed while using this medicine.
Side Effects
What are the side effects of Zelsuvmi (Topical)?
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using this medicine and call your doctor right away if you have pain, itching, swelling, or redness at the application site that lasts more than 24 hours.
Common side effects may include:
- pain, burning, or stinging;
- redness or swelling;
- itching or dry skin;
- peeling or flaking skin;
- irritation, blisters, or skin breakdown (erosion); or
- lightening or darkening of the skin.

Interactions
What drugs and food should I avoid while taking Zelsuvmi (Topical)?
Avoid getting this medicine near or in your eyes, mouth or vagina. Rinse with water if this medicine gets in those areas.
Avoid letting treated skin areas come into contact with other people.
This medication contains alcohol and should be kept away from open flame.
Dosage Guidelines & Tips
How to take Zelsuvmi (Topical)?
Use Zelsuvmi (Topical) exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Apply berdazimer to each skin lesion once daily. Use this medicine for up to 12 weeks or as directed by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after applying this medicine, unless you are using it to treat a hand condition.
- Mix the medicine as instructed before each use.
- Use only the amount needed to cover the affected area. Apply a thin layer and rub in gently.
- Use this medicine only on affected skin. Do not apply to healthy skin.
- Do not use this medicine on broken or irritated skin unless your doctor tells you to.
Do not swim, bathe, or wash the treated area for at least 1 hour after applying this medicine. Do not cover treated skin with a bandage unless your doctor tells you to.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Apply the medicine as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not apply two doses at one time.
