30 Best Valentine’s Day Food and Cooking Gifts of 2026

We’ve Spent Hours in the Kitchen to Find the Best Valentine’s Day Gifts for Foodies, Chefs, and More

Everyday Health independently vets all recommended products. If you purchase a featured product, we may be compensated. Learn why you can trust us.

I’m a firm believer that one of the best Valentine’s Day gifts you can give someone is food-related. And I’m not just talking about chocolates —although those are still a solid option.  It’s just that food gift baskets, charming keepsakes, and clever cooking tools that make time in the kitchen easier are also great choices, especially if your Valentine happens to love food and cooking as much as we do.

That’s why we spent hours testing hundreds of products to find the very best food or cooking related gifts. We ate our way through a variety of snacks, cookies, chocolates, meats and other delicacies, provided sentimental family recipes to create personalized gifts, and cooked and baked our families’ meals using air fryers, grills, and other appliances. And that’s how we arrived at this list of thoughtfu gifts that we know would make for amazing gifts because we’d certainly love receiving them ourselves.

Gifts for Foodies

candy box

For the One Who Likes Options

Sugarwish Cupidgram

I’ve tested Sugarwish several times over the past couple of years, and the brand has never disappointed. A Sugarwish gift is a box of your recipient’s favorite snacks, selected by them after you send them an email invitation. You’ll choose the box size, and they can pick the snacks they want, such as brownies, cookies, and candies (over 75 options!).

I love how the box has a fun Valentine’s Day theme, meaning no wrapping on your end. Plus, the gift box includes a custom card so you can tell your recipient how much they mean to you.

chocolates

A Must-Try Chocolate Alternative

Muzeo Treats Harmonie Assortments

Editor Olivia Campbell had nothing but great things to say about the Muzeo Treats Harmonie — an assortment of calissons, a traditional French candy. The set includes nine lemon calissons, three chocolate-hazelnut calissons, and eight blackcurrant calissons. We love how rich and intense the flavors are. “The citrus is so delightfully intense, the hazelnut is creamy, and the chocolate is rich and decadent,” said Campbell.

butcherbox meal prepped

For the Meat Lover

ButcherBox Ultimate Variety Box

The ButcherBox Ultimate Variety Box is a splurge-worthy — and mouthwatering — Valentine’s Day gift for the meat lover in your life. It includes boneless pork chops, ground beef, bacon, burgers, chicken wings, St. Louis ribs, chicken breasts, and top sirloin steaks. “The taste of the meat is also impeccable,” said Scully. “It is delicious.” There's no need to worry about it going bad if you’re not home to refrigerate it; the company ships the meat frozen and vacuum-sealed to ensure freshness.
cookies

For the One Who Leaves No Crumbs Behind

Last Crumb The Core Collection

Netflix and Crunch, The Floor Is Lava, The Madonna — these are a few of the names of cookies included in the Last Crumb Core Collection. “The names of the cookies are priceless — each cookie flavor has its own name — and in the booklet, it has a story to go along with it,” shared health writer Raki Swanson. “Makes it really fun to try all the flavors.” Your recipient will love trying all 12 flavors, including chocolate lava, cinnamon toast crunch, lemon bar, and more.

Pro cookie eating tip: Heat the cookies in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3–5 minutes, or microwave them for 15–20 seconds for optimal deliciousness. (Oh, and grab a glass of milk for dipping if that’s your thing too).

fish box

For the Seafood Lover

Wild Alaskan Company Wild Combo Gift Box

If your loved one is a pescatarian or simply enjoys seafood, we highly recommend this Wild Alaskan Company gift box. It includes four sockeye salmon, two Pacific halibuts, two Pacific cods, two Coho salmon, and two wild Alaska pollock fillets. “The Coho salmon fillets were particularly lovely,” said editor Katie Tuttle. “I cooked them with a teriyaki glaze, and the fillets were fresh and firm, with no fishy smell. Even my husband, who is not a big fan of fish, enjoyed these.”

subscription box

For Date Nights

Harry and David Classic Everyday Sharing Gift Basket

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the one you love by creating a taste-testing experience with this Harry and David gift basket. It includes crackers, pepper and onion relish, chocolate cake, a dried-fruit mix, and more. “Most of the snacks I’ve tried are all pretty good,” shared editorial director Simone Scully, adding that while she wasn’t a fan of the baked goods, the gift as a whole looked nice. Everything arrives in a beautiful — and reusable — fir wood crate with a chalkboard for personalization.

chocolates

For the One Who Considers Chocolate a Food Group

Bissinger’s Sea Salt Caramel Hearts

Valentine’s Day is synonymous with chocolate, and chocolate enthusiasts won’t be able to resist Bissinger’s Sea Salt Caramel Hearts. We enjoyed the smooth European milk chocolate, caramel, and pink Himalayan salt combination. “These are delicious,” raved editor Ashley Ziegler. “The chocolates are pretty big (about 2 x 2 inches), and I haven't found myself just overindulging in them.” We also appreciate the cute packaging that makes gift wrapping a thing of the past.

Gifts for the Chefs and Bakers

indoor grill

For the Grillmaster

Hamilton Beach Indoor Searing Grill with Hot/Cold Smoke Infuser

Grilling your favorite food indoors is a game-changer, especially when you can infuse it with smoke flavor in only 20 to 60 minutes. We appreciate the compact size that fits into a cabinet or on the kitchen counter. The best part is that this indoor grill is electric, and the food still tastes great. “When we cooked dinner with it, I thought it seared the chicken well that we cooked on it, and I liked that you can adjust the temperature easily,” said Alexandra Ginos, RD. “Another nice thing is that you can put all the grill parts (minus some of the smoker elements) in the dishwasher!”

air fryer

For the Busy Parents

Frigidaire 5-in-1 Air Fryer Oven Combo

Parents, rejoice! You can have dinner on the table in 30 minutes or less with this air fryer oven. Choose from five cooking modes and seven recipe presets, then watch your food cook through the large viewing window. “I love how versatile it is (it comes with wire trays and a basket for air frying), and how it crisped up my chicken skin!” said writer Ysolt Usigan. “It was also very easy to clean, and it cooked evenly.”

pie pan

For the Pie Passionate

Noon and Moon Pie Dish

Baking a pie from scratch is a labor of love that deserves to be shown off, and what better way than with this beautiful Noon and Moon pie dish? The scalloped rim is a subtle detail that complements the pie crust, while the deep cherry-red ceramic stands out. “It's pretty enough to bring straight to the table, and I'd enjoy bringing this over to a friend's house,” shared Scully. “It's a practical, fun gift for a baker who loves making pies.”
olive oil and vinegar gift set

For the One Who Likes a Culinary Experience

Laconiko Tasting Duo Olive Oil and Vinegar Gift Set

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar are like macaroni and cheese — they belong together. I love to dip breadsticks in the combo while having salad and pasta, but you can also add them separately over other dishes, including ice cream. Tuttle thought the flavors were great. “They're nuanced enough that I save them for drizzling on items where the flavors can really shine,” she said. “The olive oil in particular has a fresh, green, buttery taste that I really enjoy.”

The Kitchen Must-Have You Can’t Cook Without

Henckels 18-Piece Knife Block Set

$139.99 at Amazon
$169.99Now 18% Off
As someone who previously asked for a new knife set as a birthday gift, I can assure you it’s a fantastic gift for beginner or veteran cooks. This Henckels stainless steel knife block set includes 18 dishwasher-safe pieces: eight steak knives, a paring knife, a serrated utility knife, and more. “I like that it has everything you need,” shared Ziegler. “You don't really need any other knives beyond these.” The cherry on top is the stunning hardwood block that stores everything.

For the One Who Prefers Cookbooks Over Pinterest

Well Plated Every Day Cookbook

$19.25 at Amazon
$35Now 45% Off
I’m an avid Pinterest user when it comes to finding recipes, but you just can’t beat a cookbook. Well Plated Every Day by Erin Clarke provides easy, delicious recipes you can cook any day of the week. “The recipes are easy to follow and include ingredients I'm familiar with (and often have in the house),” Scully said. “She's also got some freezer make-ahead options that are great for busy parents who want to help their family eat healthier, but don't have a ton of time during the week.” The cookbook also includes dessert recipes, like blueberry cornmeal crisp and pumpkin gingerbread squares, to satisfy a late-night sweet tooth.

Gifts That Double As Keepsakes

recipe cutting board

The One With Sentimental Value

The Printed Gift Letter Cutting Board

My mom received a personalized cutting board as a holiday gift many years ago, and it lives as a beautiful keepsake in her kitchen. It features the handwritten recipe for my great-grandmother’s famous orange salad. A keepsake Valentine’s Day gift like this is thoughtful and can be passed on to future generations.

Scully tested The Printed Gift Letter Cutting Board by sending in a clear photo of one of her late mother’s recipes to the company, which, in turn, sends you proof to ensure it looks the way you want. “In my case, I had sent some recipes my mom had written down — so this item became a way to remember her and her cooking.” In addition to cutting boards, the company can also print on totes, towels, and more.

bowl

For Mixing, Serving, and So Much More

Great Jones Stir Crazy Large Bowl

The Great Jones Stir Crazy Large Bowl is a high-quality gift your recipient will reach for again and again. “It's a good-sized bowl with a gorgeous pattern that I could see being a household staple for years to come,” shared editor Ally Hirschlag. The 84-ounce capacity is large enough to serve a crowd, while the fun exterior design is mix- and table-friendly.

letter printed on tea towel

The Gift They’ll Always Want to Display

The Printed Gift Blue Striped Letter Towel

Similar to The Printed Gift Letter Cutting Board, the company’s Blue-Striped Letter Towel is also customizable. Simply send the company a photo of a recipe or a handwritten note, and it will be printed on the towel. Scully said “the process was very easy” and “very fast too — no delays in creating this.” She also said it was one of the “nicest items” she’s tested. The towels are handhemmed and feature a hanging tab for easier display.
cast iron dutch oven

The One That Will Pass from Generation to Generation

Smithey 5.5-Quart Dutch Oven

This Smithey Dutch Oven is an investment we can see being a family heirloom that’s passed down from generation to generation. It’s a true workhorse in the kitchen, as you can cook, bake, or fry food in it. “It’s beautiful; the polish, the copper-hued seasoning, the engraved knob — you can tell it's very thoughtfully constructed,” shared Tuttle. “It’s not enameled, so you don’t have to worry about chipping, cracking, or flaking, and you can use it over all kinds of heat sources, even open flame.”

For an extra-special touch on your recipient’s Valentine’s Day gift, you can even personalize the Smithey Dutch oven with custom engraving.

custom family recipes cookbook

For the Recipes They Don’t Want to Forget

Papier Family Recipes Photo Recipe Journal

Between my mom’s, my grandmothers’, and my own recipes, having a designated place to store those special ingredients is a useful gift. My husband actually gave me a recipe journal years ago, which I’ve slowly filled with meaningful recipes. I’m ready to transfer those recipes into a more eye-catching keepsake cookbook, like the Papier Family Recipes Journal. There’s space for 85 recipes, and you can add personalization, like a photo, to the front and back. Choose between two bindings, hardcover or spiral bound, and two colors, baby blue and vintage mustard.

Gifts for Coffee and Tea Enthusiasts

tea

For the Tea Experimenter

Leaves of Leisure Mini Packs

We love the Leaves of Leisure Mini Packs because they let you try flavors without buying a full box. Packages include three tea bags of your choice, such as “Snow Angel,” which features peppermint leaves, rosehip pieces, spearmint leaves, and more. “It's cute, it's fun, it's got unique flavor combos,” shared Campbell. Many of the flavors tasted especially good with a dollop of honey.
coffee

For the One Who Loves Instant Coffee

Fire Department Skull Crushing Instant Espresso Coffee

If you’ve ever had instant coffee, then you know it can sometimes have a distinctive taste compared to regular coffee. The Fire Department Skull Crushing Instant Espresso Coffee is changing the game. “It just tastes like a strong cup of coffee,” said SaVanna Shoemaker, RDN, LD. “It also mixes very easily and makes a really smooth cup.” Add 8 ounces of water or milk and enjoy hot or cold. And be sure to check out the included recipe guide for more coffee-themed drink inspo.

coffee

For the Faithful Brewer

Bulletproof Coffee The High Achiever

Of the four Bulletproof Coffees my husband and I tried, The High Achiever was our favorite. Ingredients include lion’s mane (an edible mushroom), B vitamins, and coffeeberry, and the overall taste is incredible. The medium-dark roast is rich, deep, and smooth. At 175 milligrams (mg) of caffeine, this mushroom coffee has twice the amount of a regular cup.
tea kettle

For the One Who Relies on a Tea Kettle

Laura Ashley 1.7L Dome Kettle

How pretty is this Laura Ashley tea kettle? It’s hand-decorated with a glossy UV coating to help preserve its look. A chrome handle stands out against the floral print and offers a reliable grip with each pour. We appreciate how well it worked, boiling fast and as little as a cup at a time (though the capacity is 1.7 liters if you feel like sharing). Plus, “having the temperature gauge is very handy for brewing different types of tea or coffee,” said Scully. There’s also a concealed heating element, so the water won’t boil dry if the kettle is left unattended for longer than planned.
wild blueberry tea

For the One Who Prefers Tea Over Coffee

The Republic of Tea Wild Blueberry Black Tea Bags

$15 at Amazon
The Republic of Tea Wild Blueberry is so flavorful that it surprised Scully, who tested various teas from the company. “It has a smooth flavor with a nice, subtle blueberry fruity taste, but it’s not overpowering either,” she said. “You can also have this hot or cold, which I really like. It also tastes really good with honey.” We also like how the teas come in tin canisters, making them easier to store and gift.

A Gift So Easy to Use, It’s Former Barista Approved

Hamilton Beach Slide and Lock Espresso Machine

$110.28 at Amazon
$188.45Now 41% Off

Former barista-turned-writer and editor Steven Rowe tested the Hamilton Beach Slide and Lock Espresso Machine and loved it. “It’s very easy to use, considering how difficult it can be to make a latte, and it's about as user-friendly as it can be,” he said. The reason? The espresso machine includes a slide and lock mechanism, so there’s no toying with brew heads in hard-to-reach places.

Overall, the machine makes a great Valentine’s Day gift for any espresso enthusiast due to its ease of use. Plus, “it’s also impressively sized and doesn't take up very much counter space,” Rowe added.

Gifts to Make Time in the Kitchen Easier (and Quicker)

menu recipe cards

For the One Who Loves Following Recipes

Passionate Penny Pincher Custom Menu Bundle

Family or friends who are tired of figuring out dinners every night will greatly appreciate Passionate Penny Pincher’s Custom Menu Bundle. It includes three boxes: each contains 72 recipe cards with photos, daily family grace, and 12 reusable grocery shopping lists.

You can choose the theme for each box, such as freezer menu plans, or 5-ingredient or less menu plans. Writer and registered dietitian Tori Martinet, RD, observed: “I think it's a really cute, analogue cooking option that might benefit people who aren't as comfortable using the internet to find recipes.”

For the Beginner Air Fryer

Bella 4-Quart Slim Air Fryer

$49.99 at Amazon
$59.99Now 17% Off
No joke, an air fryer changed my family’s life for the better — I can whip up my kid’s chicken nuggets and fries in as little as 10 minutes (and yes, that’s a big deal). If your gift recipient is new to air fryers, this one from Bella is a wonderful option. “It looks pretty, it’s easy to use, and the food I made (potatoes) turned out great,” shared Scully. The slim design saves space on a countertop or in a cabinet and is available in four colors to complement any kitchen theme.
kitchen gadgets

The Gift That Helps Them Downsize the Junk Drawer

Caraway Kitchen Gadget Set

The Caraway Kitchen Gadget Set is five essentials: a can opener, a pizza cutter, a garlic press, an ice cream scoop, and a vegetable peeler. It makes a great gift for anyone looking to downsize their kitchen junk drawer or replace these kitchen essentials. While it’s best to hand-wash these stainless steel tools, we appreciate the high-quality material that will last a long time. We also love the organizer that the tools store in. “This wooden organizer fits perfectly in most kitchen drawers, though it's pretty enough to be left out somewhere if you want to,” said Scully.

For the One Who Only Steeps Loose-Leaf Tea

OTOTO Cute Tea Infuser

$110.28 at Amazon
$188.45Now 41% Off
Steeping loose-leaf tea just got a whole lot more fun — and easier. Place loose-leaf tea leaves in the infuser, then set it in your mug or cup to steep. We tested the tulip and dinosaur shapes, but the tea infuser is also available in several other designs, like a crab or a submarine. “They're cuter and more fun than your average tea infusers,” said Scully. The silicone material is highly durable, heat-resistant, and dishwasher-safe.

For the Eco-Conscious

Recyco Reusable Swedish Dishcloths

$9.49 at Amazon
$12.99Now 27% Off
Swedish dishcloths are one of my favorite gifts to receive because they’re eco-friendly alternatives to paper towels or sponges. The material is surprisingly absorbent for cleaning just about any surface. “I really like that these dishcloths are plant-based and biodegradable,” said Scully. “They also just work very well: they are great at cleaning up spills and messes. We appreciate how they’re reusable; toss them in the washing machine or dishwasher when they start to get grimy.

For Easier Chopping and Slicing

OTOTO Croc Chop Vegetable Chopper and Slicer

$29.99 at Amazon
$44.99Now 33% Off
Between five interchangeable clades and adjustable settings, this adorable crocodile chopper and slicer does it all. Chop veggies, from carrots and onions to cucumbers and zucchini, in seconds. “I think it's such a fun, whimsical way to create a meal full of veggies,” said Scully. The best part? The entire chopper is dishwasher-safe, so cleaning those nooks and crannies is no problem.
