About
Megan Riehl, PsyD, is a nationally recognized gastrointestinal psychologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, specializing in gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. A pioneer in brain–gut behavioral therapies, she integrates science-based approaches to help improve quality of life for people with chronic digestive conditions.
Riehl also serves as a senior adviser for GI Psychology, cohosts The Gut Health Podcast, co-authored the book Mind Your Gut, and is a member of the national board of trustees of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
