Rebecca Bragg was a writer and journalist. From 1988 to 2000, she was a reporter for Canada’s largest newspaper, the Toronto Star, specializing in travel. Bragg helped establish Casey House, the first stand-alone AIDS hospice in Canada. She lived in India and Nepal, volunteering in animal rescue organizations in both countries. Bragg died in 2016 from complications from polycythemia vera.
