About
James Roland spent nearly two decades as a newspaper reporter and editor before focusing on health journalism and writing books for young people. He has been writing about health and wellness for 15 years. He writes about most health and medical subjects but has focused largely on topics such as cardiovascular disease, bones and joints, cancer, mental health, dementia, and fitness. Roland has written for outlets including Healthgrades, Healthline, WebMD, Survivornet, Infobase, and Live Science.
