About
Gabrielle Dion is the founder and publisher of MedicateOH, a nonprofit journalism organization focused on evidence-based patient education about medical cannabis. A native of Cincinnati, Dion turned her personal experience with degenerative disk disease and opioid dependence into advocacy and journalism after finding symptom relief with medical cannabis.
Dion has more than two decades of experience writing and editing for medical and wellness publications and has worked with outlets including The Journal of Pediatrics, Livestrong, The Cincinnati Enquirer, and Patient Pop. Through MedicateOH, she produces patient-facing reporting, community events, and educational resources for Ohio’s medical cannabis program.
