She writes about French food and culture (especially cheese) for major publications, runs cheese-focused food tours, hosts the Navigating the French podcast, and publishes the Emily in France newsletter.
Monaco holds advanced degrees in French literature and is an Academy of Cheese Level 1 Associate and international cheese judge.
